Iam wanting to take my boys on a hunt this spring out of state in Kentucky or Ohio.Any help would be nice. Thanks Todd

I've done well in both on public land...why not both!! Kentucky starts the week before Ohio so you can spend a week enjoying both..Ohio is one of my favorite places besides my home state of Pennsylvania. YOU DON'T need a guide if you want to do a little research on the net..lots has been written about both and there's no shortage of information available for each. I usually take my wife along and make a two week vacation staying in both states lodges, which are really nice and reasonable and they are usually located around things to see and do..

Youth weekend in KY is a great time to kill birds. Shoot me a P.M and I'll help out as much as I can on info. Depending on how well your boys can hike, nothing crazy just a little bit of a walk, I can point you at some public spots.

Ive done well on public land in Eastern Kentucky.....but its hard mountain hunting.
