Title: Can you believe this?
Post by: barry on November 27, 2012, 12:34:56 PM
The father of a friend of mine called the game warden to report some suspicious activity on the farm where he hunts. The warden said he would check it. Since it was Sunday my friends father loaded up his dog, a lab, and met the warden at the property to show him around.
Here's the kicker.
Afterwards the warden told him if he caught him in the woods again and he and his dog both did not not have blaze orange on he would write him up.
It was Sunday!!! There's no hunting in VA on Sundays.
I guess all you guys down east that run deer with hounds better get them fitted for orange vests !!!

That's just crazy. His underware must have been too tight. He obviously wasn't the valedictorian of his Game Warden class!! You can't fix stupid and I'm not sure about ignorance..

:agreed: No offense Barry but I am not surprised to hear about this happening with a Virginia game warden. I wonder what his name was. This summer my family & I were vacationing at Massunuten & took my young daughters fishing and I got a ticket b/c I was seen casting their barbie polls out and did not have a license. A little common sense would go along way.
