Had to hussle and get my five deer in the freezer quick as deer huntin' is low on my list.got to hit the marsh Saturday morning and stayed covered in Gadwalls with Ronnie being able to get a good mounter for his collection.
Hit the turkey woods Sunday morning and was blessed to watch Ronnie smack a double beard and this morning had a snow goose visit the decoy spread in one of our Florida honey holes.
Greatful the deer hunting is behind me and I can work with the waterfowl and turkeys.
Hope everyone has a Blessed Thanksgiving

Way to go, Boys.. You got meat laying all over the place.. Nice way to end the year..
Looks and sounds like a great start to your hunting season, CONGRATS!
I too rank deer season "low on my list" but for the past couple of weeks with our youth, muzzle loader, and regular season starting I find myself enjoying it more than I can ever remember. Must be the time spent with the kids, family, and friends I guess.
On the other hand, I cant wait till our waterfowl season starts, shooting ducks help me pass the time until turkey season starts.

It was a fun deer season I must say.it was really a eight point year.I passed on one nice 8 and got some good video, missed another 8 at 40 yards(unbelievable) got another 8 and tagged this one here.
Ronnie sure is one happy camper when that freezer starts to fill...he know we is fixing to start some bird huntin'!
Congrats on a successful season. Hope the bird hunting goes as well.
