Looks like pen-raised to me.  :(

Not sure why anyone would want a pen-raised buck or sheds from one.   Give me wild or Polled Herford!

Good luck getting yours.

Pen raised or not, it's still impressive and unique. Quite amazing to see how the antlers can develop with nutrition.

Although we manage our personal property for wildlife instead of timber harvest, and manage the deer herd, there are still some years where I feel the bucks don't get enough nutrition for their racks to develop to their potential. We do both summer time and winter time planting.

God Bless,
David B.
