Title: Baraboo WI area? UPDATE
Post by: woodwzrd on November 08, 2012, 08:45:16 PM
Anyone here from the Baraboo area? I am considering a job offer in Baraboo that would have my family and I moving there in early June. I have till Nov. 26th to make a decision. I am looking for any info on the area I can get and to make contacts in the event I accept the offer.

Well it is official. I will be moving my family to Baraboo WI in June. I have accepted an offer with Flambeau Inc. as an entry level engineer working in blow molding and injection molding as well as project management. The Lord has truly blessed my family. Prayers of gratitude just do not seem enough right now.

The only thing I know about Baraboo is they hold the NWTF Midwest Turkey Call Competition. Must be lots of turkey hunters near.

Our son lives in Portage, but has only been there a little less than a year. Lots of deer, turkey, and places to fish. Neill

Congrats on the new job, Woodwzrd.. Don't know a whole lot about the town, other than it's the home of the Circus World Museum. Good luck with the new digs and the new job..Mike

Scott you should stop in to the Wisconsin State Convention since you're not far away.  Plenty to look at in the Midwest Call Competition room.

I went down there 2 years ago to check it out. I am hoping to send a few calls down for the competition this year and you can bet that next year I will be there since I will only be living maybe 15-25 miles top from the convention.
