The gifts keep coming today. I also got a call from a good buddy who is a HUGE duck call collector, and has an impressive wood collection for himself. He moved back to town and Ive been taking him duck hunting. He knows I have started having some trumpets made. He called tonight and said he was coming by baring gifts. BOY oh BOY, my wallet isnt gonna survive. Im thinking Permar, Buice, and Cox may end up with some of this.
Two Honduran rosewood burls, one mascar ebony, and one Black and White ebony...which he calls Dalmation ebony.

Dang. Those are sweet
nice wood
Where's mine???????? LOL..... love that Honduran Rosewood burl...sweet stuff for sure!
You need to share some of that wood with us poor turkey hunters Del. Its not right for you to keep all of it so when you get this wood cut into trumpet blanks remember I would like just 1 piece of that H. Rosewood Burl for my next trumpet call that I will have made. Not sure who the lucky callmaker would be but yet but the three you had picked wouldn't be bad.
