Title: Well it is official now, I am Moving North!
Post by: HogBiologist on October 26, 2012, 08:03:23 PM
I applied for a job in another state and got it.  :happy0064:  I will be doing the same job as I am now, but somewhere else.  My wife and I went to make an offer on a house today and by the time we got home the offer was accepted.  :z-guntootsmiley:  Now I just have to wait until my official start date!  Yippee!  I am so excited.  Thank you everyone for the prayers.  I have left this whole job issue up to God.  THe Lord has definately had his hand in this from the beginning.  From the job interview to the house we are buying.  The house was actually one of the first ones we looked at, and really didnt want to look at in the first place.  We came back for a second look and really liked it.  We went back today and went over the house with a fine toothed comb and decided it had the greatest potential and the best value.  It is a 4 acre tract outside of town with a 2016 sq ft house, 2 shops, a shed, and plenty of room for a garden and chickens.  I am happier than a slinky on an escalator.

No, I will not be in Louisiana any more.  I have not decided exactly what I will change to, but I have until December 10th to decide.

Drenalinld,
I have an uncle living in Greenbrier.  The biggest deer I have ever shot was off his place.  My dad was born and raised in North Arkansas.  My Mother was raised in the prescott area.  I have a lot of family in Arkansas.  Although I am currently in the area I was raised in (NW LA) my heart has always been in the Ozarks.  This job is just one step closer to being able to retire in the area I love so much.
