I know that I am not the only one that is tired of going to the mail box and reaching in to only find a stack of envelopes of nothing but junk. Out of 10 envelopes only 1 is something that you actually need.
So, I have figured out a way to do to them what they do to us. I took an envelope from a credit card company, opened it, got the envelope that they mail with it and stuck all of the stuff in that envelope (including the envelope it was mailed it). Note that the envelope they send is pre-paid postage! I wrote with a Sharpe on the outside "Ha Ha, you had to pay postage twice!", sealed the envelope and stuck it in the mail box to go right back to the credit card company.
Maybe if they got back most of the mail they send out then they will quit sending that junk out.
Felt good to send it back!
been doing that for years
Yep, any time I get something with a postage paid envelope enclosed I send it back. Years ago I used to add a photo copy of a picture of me giving the finger along with their junk they sent me. On the picture I'd write not interested. I've quit sending the picture now, wasn't sure if their was some kind of law against it.
throw it away
Shread it and put it in a compost pile. That's what my wife does with it.

I just started doing the same thing Eric!
My father in law used to work for the post office. He said it was perfectly legal to tape the envelope to a box and mail them a bunch of bricks. And lets just say "Globe Life" should have enough for a patio from me by now.

I used to do the same thing. Also sent the phone company a bill for my time on the phone disputing a bogus charge. Seems like I spent 2 hours disputing an $11 mistake on their part. They never did pay the bill I sent them!~
