Title: Hog workshop in Minden (NW LA)
Post by: HogBiologist on March 02, 2011, 07:52:23 PM
Ok, I have about got my Hog workshop lined up. Date looks like April 30th (saturday). Speakers will include; Jim Lacour (State Vet), David Hayden (Biologist), Tim Moss (professional Nussiance trapper), and a few others ....hopefully. The Itinerary is shaping up to be:

Biology
Diseases
Damage Cost/Amounts
Hunting (day and night)
Trapping (techniques/materials)
Current Laws

I will also have trap displays, Hog exclusion display (keep the buggers away from feeders), night hunting accessories. I even hope to get a few live ones to have on hand, but dont count on it cause I am just hoping.

That is the focus of this workshop.  We want them buggers gone.

2 can become over 200 in 2 years, and that is a conservative estimate.

MI is trying to be the first state ever to eradicate them.. My bet is NO if the problem is as big as everyone is making it to be already..
