Mr McKamey sent me a few blanks a while back. One of them was alot longer than the rest. I thought to myself, why would he send me a longer blank for a cost style box. Nevertheless I have been pondering over that long piece of wood for awhile now. I decided to try to do something with it yesterday. The wood is Chestnut and the lid is Yellowheart. It didn't come out as bad as I expected it to. It also sounds like a turkey. Go figure.... I know Jeff was just agging me on to make a longbox. Whether he would admit it or not. Thanks again for the wood Dr. McKamey.
