Title: Gobbling in Louisiana!
Post by: TANK on March 02, 2011, 07:21:54 PM
Im fortunate enough to have a job where I can do some scouting while on the clock. I went to a place where I can hunt in the company truck this morning and seen about 18 hens, 3 jakes, and one longbeard. I seen & heard the longbeard gobble 4 times, once while he was breeding a hen. He gobbled on top of her!
Went to another place to put out a trail camera, on my lunch brake, and seen 2 longbeards in the road feeding.
Stopped at another place on the way home and seen 14 hens in a pipeline feeding................. :z-guntootsmiley: I'm not gona sleep well tonite!

Better be carefull with the way people are now a days. They took a pic of a police officer that was watching an arson scene for hours and had solitare up on his computer. Now they are trying to find out who he was so they can discipline him. What a joke. Also are sure that was a gobble and not a squealing hen  :D
