Title: Never say never.......
Post by: chatterbox on September 19, 2012, 03:10:46 PM
Well guys, I had to go and try the red dot one more time on my 835. I found the scope made the gun a little heavier than I would have liked, especially toting it around like I did this past spring.
Besides that, I don't like any piece of equipment getting the best of me! ;D
Enter the FFIII.
This sight is AWSOME! I went with the 8 MOA dot, and had her dialed in in no time. I love the ruggedness and small size of this reflex sight, and I'm so glad I didn't give up on a red dot.
The scope now resides on my T/C Impact muzzleloader, where it belongs!
To anybody looking for a great, low profile rugged sight for their turkey rig, the FFIII is truly the answer.

Been debating on trying one on my 870 for some time now.  I was gonna go with a scope but after reading how most seem to like the red dots better (especially the FF3) I plan on having one before next turkey season.  My older eyes are having trouble focusing with the short 21 inch barrel.  Looking forward to trying one out.  Thanks for the review.
