Title: Daybreak in the upper meadow
Post by: culpeper on September 07, 2012, 10:23:58 AM
This wood combo was somewhat of a first for me, the lid and base are Bolivian Rosewood (sure glad I have a lot more of it) and the box is Red Maple with purpleheart spacers and purple poplar end blocks. I picked the Maple up from a small Amish mill in Conewango Valley NY.  I had suspected the Rosewood would work and it didn't disappoint.  This is strong combo for sound and will make a great hunter for the fellow in N. Carolina who receives it .  Thanks for lookin and listening!  I also posted a sound file at the end of the pics.
