Title: Off season decoy use
Post by: canadatom on August 30, 2012, 12:21:01 PM
My daughter was helping with the yard work the other day and said, "Daddy, you need to let the turkeys out of the garage sometimes you know", so I let her pick a couple to play with and I guess it turned into a tea party of sorts!!

Not sure what is happening here

What is happening here is future turkey hunter being created. My daughters love playing with my decoys as well. My 5yr old is becoming addicted to it already. When we are riding she is always helping me look for turkeys. The other day she had them in our living room and was pretending to be hunting them with a nerf gun. I thought that I was the only one who had children who like to play with them. Keep her interested as much as possible and hopefully she will want to hunt with you later.
