Been wanting to try my hand at air brushing, so I am working on a few lures to send out. Here is one called a Cyclone, this is the base paint, at this point the lure has three coats on it, white, pearled green and black....I will post more as the coats are applied, it will have bleeding gills and scales highlighted in gol and a transparent orange applied then silver pearl, then the clear coat. The lure has an underbelly port that will allow water to come out under it like a jet boat, three feet diver with rattles....what ya think...worth trying? pappy
If I was a fish I'd bite it.
Looking good. Cant wait to see the finished product.
Looks great
that is a great looking lure, nice detail you have great talent. just one question, is that head the creature from the black lagoon

Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha...that is funny, but it does look like it doesn't it?
Great work :icon_thumright: He definitely looks angry! Maybe It'll scare the little ones away and just catch BIG ones. ;D

That was my first impression! Thought Jack would call it "The Creature."
Kidding aside. Looks good Jack. I'm sure it will trick the fishes.
Pappy :theman:
vaturkey :newmascot:
Reminds me of a duck decoy that's a "shelfer," a work of art instead of something that you'd risk messing up!
After extensive re-painting and scratching my head, I ended up with these two. The shiner is headed to vaturkey and the frog is headed to the backwaters ..... hope it will at least scare a fish on one of the trebles....hahahaha....pappy
