Nice lookn' call. 35 years ago, one of the hook 'n bullet magazines did an article about duck call manufacturing in the Grand Prairie region of Arkansas which includes Stuttgart. One of the prized woods for call making was mud cured osage. School boys would earn pocket money finding and collecting the wood for the makers in the form of old fence posts, specifically the portion buried for decades in the wet soil which amazingly turns green. I've got an old Rich N' Tone caller that I've had for close to 35 years made from the same wood. That is a real treasure you have.
I could take good care of that mud cured hedge RNT for you. What a keeper.
