 Here is a longbox I just completed for my friend, outdoor writer , Jim Casada down in South Carolina. Jim requested that I use wormy butternut for his call so I picked out this choice piece of wood that I got from my buddy Scott Witter up In NY state . He almost used this one to stoke the fire under his still but I talked him out of it before he ran a batch . I topped it off with Canarywood from South America. This call has great kee kee's , a whole flock of yelps down each side and a hearty gobble on the back end . Hopefully it will help Jim add to his tales of hunting the wild turkey next season !
