WHAT KINDAS WOOD?
That looks like some Amboyna Burl. You don't play fair. Are you having a matching set made? Good for you, as I love my Buice. Is the mouthpiece going to be permanent or removable?
Nice looking wood.I would like to get one of Mr.billy's calls some time heard nothing but good things about him.Dont think he lives to far from me might just look him up sometime.Let us see the awsome trumpets he turns out of that wood you got.
Its not Amboyna, he has turned plenty of that. im gonna keep it top secret if I can. I talked with Billy, and he said he had never turned any of this wood. Im gonna do a push in style or screw in.
I got enough for two, maybe three if we add a different wood to the bell.
Mr. Billy to me makes one of the top trumpets out there. He is my favorite
No Doubt they will look awesome!! And for SURE be FULL of TURKEY!!! Billy is a fine man and call maker..
