Title: Wood Help

I got this piece of wood about a year ago. It's english walnut. My wife says it looks like a boot. I need some ideas as to what I should do with it?

It does look like a boot.  It also looks like it would make some super nice pot calls.  I think a pot call showing both the sapwood and heartwood would be very nice looking.
