Been busy lately trying to get all my elk calls done for my upcoming elk hunt. A buddy of mine who was on a bear hunt this past spring had asked me to make a call for the outfitter and his guide who assisted them during their sucessful bear hunt. The Pot call is an Osage Orange, Glass over Glass with an Osage striker for the outfitter himself. I thought a bear on the bottom of his call would be fitting because the call was ordered because of a sucessful bear hunt. The Box call is for one of the Guides who helped out during their hunt. This guide is a dog handler who uses his dogs to run Mt. Lion's and Bears so I thought that the Mt. Lion head in the feather on the lid would be fitting. The Box has a Hickory lid with Black Walnut Inlay, the box is Mahogany base and end blocks with Beechnut blades. The box has a real nice crisp yelp and cluck with a nice roll over during a yelp.

Thanks for the look!!
Pretty nice calls and the art work is something.
Love those callers....I take it you are an osage man too...pappy
Great lookin calls. I always love hedge!!
Actually Pappy this is the first Pot Call that I've made out of Osage but it won't be my last. I picked Osage because I wanted the Bear on the bottom of the call to pop, and pop it did. This call sounds sweet and I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it!!!!!
Nice
