Our coastal archery deer season opened yesterday. Anybody else hunting deer right now? We are one of the earliest deer seasons opened in the country. It's just too hot to be deer hunting for me.

I'm ready to shoot a deer, buy July is way too early
We're gonna open mid sept this year, earliest ever. I don't know if I could go hunting for deer this early.

not yet but i'm hunting bear. we have to wait until the middle of august here. good luck.
Oct.1st here. Early doe on private property around the 20th of Sept. for 2 days.
Mid September before we start here in Ohio, fawns still feeding off the tet's here. LOL :drool:
Opens in early Sept...But I usually try and wait til it cools off a bit. My son will drag me out early at least a couple of days, he's talkin about it allready. ;D. He's got the fever
