I finished my first two pot calls today. I would really appreciate any feedback you guys could give me. Go easy on me though haha

They both sound great to me! Personally I liked the second call better, specifically I liked how it didn't sound as "hard" as the first call. However I would take either one after a bird with no reservations. Good job!
Thanks Scott. I like the second call better too. I just can't seem to figure out aluminum or glass calls yet. I guess it's just trial and error....
Good job on both i guess im just opposite ive liked my aluminum calls better i find aluminum works good over slate it helps dull down the high pitch as glass just adds to it i also love aluminum over slate in zebra wood i done one aluminum over slate in mohagony for a guy at work that sounded pretty good too just my personal experience but aluminum over slate works best for me
I would like to try a slate soundboard, but just from reading others past experiences, slate seems to be risky as far as its durability. Thanks for the input
