The one on the left is an Osage with the push in mouthpiece system.

Nice looking trumpets. I just got off the phone with Billy and have my name on a Desert Ironwood trumpet with screw in mouth pieces # 3,4,5.  It was fun talking to him and if the trumpet looks anything like yours I will be pleased.

Nitro what's the main difference with the shorter call? Is it higher pitched? That's the call I was thinking of getting from Billy.

Billy says they play "faster"... A Buice has the interchangeable mouthpiece, so the pitch is going to come from whatever mouthpiece you are using.  According to him. A shorter call can cut and yelp easier.. I find that it has a little different tone....

He doesn't make many of the short trumpets. If you are going to get ONE, get a 6".. I cannot just buy one of anything it seems. Buice calls are addicting. :toothy9:
