Title: Frying pan pot call in a pot
Post by: bbcustomboxcalls on July 02, 2012, 12:11:40 PM
I was trying to think of a way of displaying a pot call in the offseason and I came up with this idea.
This is one of my Zebrawood fp copper calls in a Claro Walnut pot.
Any comments positive or negative are welcome.  Just would like to find out if there is any interest in something like this.
Here are the three components: Lid, Pot call and bottom view of pot.

I realy like this, but i don't like the handle. i think it would look great as a kettle with legs, just thinking you did a great job i like it when someone goes of the hook.

Its interesting that you mention the handle Gary. I thought about the kettle idea and I decided to go with handle because of the frying pan copper.

Thanks for the input.

I'm guessing the striker is too long to be used in place of the handle?  That would make the whole thing cooler IMO; instead of just having the striker laying next to it.  Put the striker in the hole and it becomes the handle to the pot display.  I imagine you've thought of that though; and the striker is just too long.  Nice looking display.

What a unique way to display an outstanding call. These could move your calls into a whole new arena of buyers/collectors. Good job!

Very creative way to display a pot call. I like it. I'll bet the call sounds good as well.
