I had a blast this year with my first double beard in Georgia, and a great Florida season for our entire group. I took my first bird on our property in North Florida, called him in myself and laid the smack down. We saw a ton of Jakes and 2 year olds on all the different parcels that we hunt so next year should be as good or better. The call of choice for this year was the Lights Out Aluminum that I ordered from Wendell and the wingbone call. Both of these are simple to run and as you can see they are effective. I have always loved turkey hunting and that love has grown as I look forward to watching the poults grow up and count the days till next year...

It was a great year and it was also my first true turkey season where I really hunted and chased the birds on a regular basis. It will be hard to top...
