Title: Gobblin' This Morning in MI
Post by: Spring Creek Calls on June 18, 2012, 07:30:53 PM
Was out on the deck this morning doing the final tune to a long box going to FL when a gobbler sounded off toward the back of my property. By the time I'm done tuning he's gobblin' just inside the woods about 40 yards away. I believe he would have came into the yard but my cell phone went off and that's the last I heard of him. Man I love to hear 'em gobble!!!

That one is probably as tuned as it can be.

Cool.  I saw 2 strutting last week in Ohio on our ride home from NYC.

Awesome!  It always freaks me out the last few years when I have heard them gobble in IL and MO while deer hunting in November!

Last year on the opening day of duck season a bachelor group gobbled for 20 minutes on the roost before flying down. Fall music!
