This is the first of two pecan boxes I'm doing this week. I had a regular pecan lid ready for this one until I saw this bark piece laying by the saw. I've done a couple of bark lids on cedar and one on a pear wood box that turned out good. So we tried it, and it sounds pretty good and looks wild.

Man that is one cool caller there! I like the natural bark edge on both the box and the lid. It's way different than what you normally see.
