Title: Scratchbox for Lamar Williams
Post by: shadetree callers on June 10, 2012, 12:53:59 PM
Well after a long turkey season , I finally made it back in the shop to make calls . Here is a scratchbox that I made for my friend Lamar Williams . Lamar and I were talking while I was down in Florida hunting and he told me he liked a couple of the cherry scratchboxes I made with dogwoods and palmettos burned on them . I decided to make him a parquet style call to go with the checkerboard scrathbox I made for him last year. This one is made from flamed maple , purpleheart, NY maple and walnut from Eminence , Mo. The striker is made from maple , purpleheart, and mahogany . Thanks for looking !
Bob
