Title: Saiga semi auto
Post by: lowoctane on June 08, 2012, 11:38:57 AM
 :morning:
Has anyone considered one of these for a multi-purpose gun? Short barrel, threaded and semi auto. Hmmm...Not inexpensive like they were when they first hit the market.

I was just thinking if a guy only had enuff money for one shotgun, just think what could be done with one of these with choke and load combinations! The platform has sights already and can be adapted for optics very easily. It's already black, so camo wouldn't really be necessary, or paint it to your liking. The five round magazine could be restricted easily enough as well for states that require less than five rounds.
So with a change of a choke and load, you could use it for home protection or head out into the woods! A little trigger work and you've got a weapon that rocks.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to do that.  I think you could make a sweet rig with a little work.

I think they are based off the AK- 47, so it would be a very durable gun to have

Yes I looked at them...if only it came in a 10 gauge.
I have been doing OK with my single shot but one day I am sure multiple gobblers will charge my foxhole ...uh I mean blind.
