Hey Fellas,
Anybody here use an Ultradot red dot or know anything
about them?
Thanks,
Jim
I put one of their tube style sights on a handgun and later switched to the L/T open lens sight because I could get it on target faster. They are well made sights and thought of highly in the handgun bullseye competition crowd. They are a little pricey but are well made. The L/T requires a rail for mounting but there is a slide out tray on the side for battery replacement. You do not have to take it off to replace the battery. There is no reason that it would not make an excellent shotgun sight as the glass window is a little larger than similar style sights on the market. They do not offer it in a camo model though and that is the reason I put something else on my shotguns.

Thanks Skeeter,
I will look at the LT.
Are these comparable to an Aimpoint?
All the Aimpoints I know of are tube style red dot sights, not open lens sights like this one. I personally feel the open lens sights let you acquire the target faster.
Thanks Skeet,
That's a good looking sight. I should have asked is
the quality of their sights comparable to the quality of
Aimpoint, Burris, etc.?
Thanks,
Jim
I think all three are perceived as top tier manufactures of sighting equipment. Aimpoint may have a slight edge in perception due to their battlefield sight experience.
Thanks Skeet,
Is the LT clearer than looking thru an Aimpoint red dot
or a Trijicon reflex sight?
Never compared them. I doubt there is any significant difference between those.
Thanks for the info Skeeter.
