Title: Wingbone ID help
Post by: gobblenomore on June 03, 2012, 09:00:26 PM
Guys I've got 2 wingbone calls from 2006. Te signature looks like Rob Bal. They are thread wrapped and have a black rubber stop near the end of the mouthpiece. Any help is appreciated in trying to ID the maker.

Sounds like a Rob Balaam bone caller. He usually has a glass bead type lipstop but may have used other material. He started making calls around 2004 and  has won several awards for his calls. Can you post any pics? Hope this helps.   :icon_thumright:

Those calls are Rob Balaams. The painted cork round lipstops didnt start until later until 08 or 09 if I rememberright. Signature looks like RB Bal.At one point he started puting the year of made call after the L. Usually in the form of '06, '07 etc.
