Title: Burl tubes

I just finished these up and shipped out today.

Maple burl on the left and another cherry burl on the right.

woodwzrd, are you using a CA finish on those tubes?  The way the inclusions and voids in the cherry burl are finished so smooth leads me to believe so?

Yes it is a CA finish. I use thick CA to fill any little voids when I get it turned to just about the sanding stage.

Thanks for the info.  That's a great technique and you did a very nice job with it!
