Title: WV Loses a GREAT Man
Post by: WVU on May 22, 2012, 12:23:41 AM
Its a sad day to be a Mountaineer...where ever you may be.

Bill wasnt the best coach in history, but you couldnt show me a better man.

Agreed! I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Coach Stewart a few years ago.  I was saddened to hear of his passing yesterday.

"Leave No Doubt" yesterday was a sad day in West Virginia.

Rest in Peace Bill and prayers sent for his family.

Truly one of the best men i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. WVU was very lucky to have him on our sidelines, he was one of the best representatives for our university and our state and what we stand for that we could have ever asked for. He blead blue and gold to the core and was very proud and passionate about it. Very very sad day losing one of the true greats we had left. RIP Stew, you will be greatly missed.
