The recoil pad on my Benelli Nova was so hard I think I could have driven nails with it. Ace hardware had the Limbsaver pads on sale for 20% off. They advertise 70% less recoil felt. Have any of you guys replaced their pads with an over the counter pad? I got a Supercell pad for my 870 and that thing rocks!
Many here have done that with their 835s and have had great success
I have replaced all of my factory recoil pads with Limbsaver pads and there is definitely a noticeable reduction in felt recoil, especially in my Benellis.

I replace the older style pads with Limbsaver and then put a Shooter's Friend over that. It really helps.
Thanks,
Clark
They are worth every penny. I have one on my 870 and it is night and day with out it on there.
I have a Limbsaver pad on my Mossberg 835 and it helps alot.

Me too.
I bought one but it doesn't fit. They are sending me a grind to fit model and then I will send the other back. Looking forward to trying it. They don't seem to make one that fits an 870 Express with a wooden stock.
West Augusta.....try the Remington "Supercell" for your 870. It seems to be just as "Squishy" as my limbsaver.

They had a bad lot of rubber, not something they advertise.
If you get in touch with the warranty department they will make it right.
I just put one on my 535. Haven't had the chance to shoot yet, but I think I will be pleased.
Put one on my Benelli SBE2. Made a world of difference. :newmascot:
I have several hard kicker's that have been tamed by a Limbsaver.
Considering a Kick eez pad to compare which one may be better ?

Tamed my 12 guage 3 1/2" Hevi's down to a 20 guage dove load. I also use them on my deer rifles and it reduces muzzle jump tremendously.
Have one on each shotgun (835 and JC Higgins model 20) and they work. Great company to work with just down the road from me.
These pads are an automatic upgrade to any gun I own or about to own!
I took off the rem pad on my 870 and put a slip on Limbsaver on, it sure makes a difference.
I have 5 differnt limbsavers for different applications, thy are great.
