Title: My latest box call

Messed around and gave it to iys new owner before I took a pic after it was finished, this when it was almost done. Black walnut/sassafras

Thats a really nice clean looking call. I prefer the calls without checkering or too much inlay so the wood can be easily seen, but I know that is a personal preference. It looks short, what effect does that length have on the sound? Again, very nice...............Scott

it has what I would call a medium-high pitch with a raspy roll over. the box is around 6.5" long.
