Well there isnt much to tell about this hunt as it was a run and gun kind of hunt this morning...I managed to get between him and his lovers and I called him in...
He came in Gobbling his head off and strutin his stuff and at about 15 yards the 870 roared one more time this spring...
Its been a tough spring here in my neck of the woods...not many birds at all...we better pray for a good hatch this year...or next year we will be in big trouble...
Usually birds flop around for a min or two after the shot...not this guy...it was instant...I walked over and picked him up with no life left in him...Good way to go I guess..
Going to try to get out and do some more calling for a couple of friends and try to learn a little more as well..
