Title: Hen with peep's
Post by: bgbuck153 on May 14, 2012, 09:42:00 PM
I live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and I have been wondering if the breeding phase was over because all the gobblers are flocked up and I got my answer tonight . My wife was driving home this evening and a hen with about 10 peep's walked in front of her . She said the peep's were about the size of her fist . That's freaking early . Is anybody else seeing peep's ? Is anybody else seeing flocked up gobblers ?

Saw a bunch today on our place, in different places.  :happy0064:

About a quail and a half in size.

God Bless,

South Florida poults. Looks like we had a good hatch this year.

This was my 42nd season hunting turkeys in Missouri and the 1st ever sighting of poults during the season.  In fact there were youngsters running around the first week of our three week season that began April 16.  ORR
