Western Virginia? I went to VA this past Saturday and the woods was quiet. The same thing in Southern West Virginia the last few times I went out. We have one week left but I believe it is over or close to it anyway. Just wondering if anyone else is hearing anything? I believe the warm March got them going earlier this year. :gobble:
Finally heard one yesterday....but it was very hard to make him talk and he would not commit. Other than him it has been dead silent for a week now.

Nothing here. Haven't heard ten birds all season. Called one in and had a primer fail to detonate but other than that nothing.
