I bought 1 the last box of the Rem Nitro 3' 1 and 7/8oz #5's. They got probably 12 boxes of the #4's left. I figured for $5 a box is about 1/2 of what they were. The other Walmart in my town has them still for $9.97 a box.

I've never gotten good patterns from any gun with the Rem shells, but must admit they threw nice patterns from my 870(25" bbl w/ Rhino 660) this year prior to the season. That was the shell you speak of, 3" 1-7/8oz #5s
I guess if they shoot good outta your gun, then that is a heck of a deal.
We shot them outta my Dad's 835 and they were only a 30yd load. At 40yds, they were horrible.
I bought them because they were only 50 cents a pop. I don't need them, but at that price I couldn't resist.
I tell my wife cheap crap still does not change the fact that it is crap.
I like their guns but the turkey shells are lacking.
I've seen Remington shells shoot better than Winchester shells. But I admit a lot of their turkey loads lack.
Be good long range crow loads.
Be a good load to break in a new gun and choke too. Think I will pick up a few boxes to break in the new Benellis with.
my winchester 1300 shoots nitro 5s to about 45 yards great...heaven forbid i shoot something good out of it and try it. I may be scouring my wally world for some deals.
