I think it would be. I have to ask why HTL 4's?

Pure gold is a fine choke. Just curious as to why you're going with #4s in hevi. Really no need to go that big. It's kind of defeating the purpose of hevi shot and you are going to loose pattern density. If you want to throw some 4's , try the mag blends, it will give you more pellets down range. Just my 2 cents.

They wont pattern better than 6's not enough pellets and more than enough power in the 6's.. The #6 hevi have impressed me a ton and I'm a tough sell

I understand the need to tinker though im still buying ammo and chokes even though I have a great combo already

With the way #6 Hevi hits, there is no need to shoot hevi #4.
Excellent choice to stay with the hevi-13 #6! :icon_thumright:

In my experience, a .670 will be too tight for #4's.  You would be better off with a choke around .680 or so.

yea guys im off the 4s kick really to much overkill.....im still tinkering because the pattern i posted with the indian creek is not consistant i shot it again today and i get dense patterns but big gaps around the 20....
i ordered 2 boxes of mag blends thats what i killed my 2 turkeys with this year i got a pg 660 coming to try...i really need some help .....im looking for 200 in the 10 with  even 20...and alsomy gun shoots 3 inch shells way better and more consistant...

any help will be greatly appreciated

best advice I can give.. Call William at Sumtoy and he will work to build you a choke for your gun and load combo

no guarantees of 200 but his chokes will get the most out of your gun and he focus on even consistent patterns. I get better 10 numbers from a jellyhead but not near as even and shot to shot consistent as my sumtoy
