i ordered a box of 6s to try ..but how do i go about ordering to make sure i get the same lot...???

also where exactly is the lot #?

I would guess the best chance of getting the same lot# would be go back to the same place you the first box

We shoot hundreds of those shells each year as well as other brands. Shotshells are shotshells and sometimes one just shoots better than another but I would not be overly concerned about lot numbers or any of them being able to cleanly kill  a turkey.

let me say this, I have shot 3.5" 2.25oz #6 H-13 shell threw the same gun and choke with the fallowing results lot#300549 146,152 in a 10" at 40,        lot#300159 233,238 in a 10" at 40yds. bottom line both will kill turkeys.

If you only shoot 40 yards and in I suppose it doesn't matter that there have been 60-90 pellet discrepancies between lot numbers.  However, if you knowingly and regularly expect to have the ability to stroke them a little farther, it is a very significant issue.......

Call Rogers sporting goods. They have checked lot numbers for me when I asked them to.
