i ordered a box of 6s to try ..but how do i go about ordering to make sure i get the same lot...???
also where exactly is the lot #?
Should be on 1 of the inside flap labels.
how do i order the same lot ...
I would guess the best chance of getting the same lot# would be go back to the same place you the first box
well i orderd them form cabelas ..should i really get caught in these #s

We shoot hundreds of those shells each year as well as other brands. Shotshells are shotshells and sometimes one just shoots better than another but I would not be overly concerned about lot numbers or any of them being able to cleanly kill a turkey.
Thanks,
Clark
thanks clark...ill just put some birds on the ground and quit thinking so much..lol
let me say this, I have shot 3.5" 2.25oz #6 H-13 shell threw the same gun and choke with the fallowing results lot#300549 146,152 in a 10" at 40, lot#300159 233,238 in a 10" at 40yds. bottom line both will kill turkeys.
If you only shoot 40 yards and in I suppose it doesn't matter that there have been 60-90 pellet discrepancies between lot numbers. However, if you knowingly and regularly expect to have the ability to stroke them a little farther, it is a very significant issue.......
Call Rogers sporting goods. They have checked lot numbers for me when I asked them to.
