Title: ventilator broke 100

I got 167 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards with the ventilator  :OGturkeyhead:using the hevi 13 3" 2oz #7...only got 2 shells left for next week in PA!!!

Now I got to ask.  Did you draw your 10" circle prior to shooting to get that low of count with that load?  That choke should do way better.  I always draw my 10" after the shot and get the densest part of pattern with my 10" glass cutout.

no i did not. I put a primos turkey target up amd shot it.  dont have adjustable sights in this gun it appeated to be shooting right so i held a little left amd git a higher pellet count

Did you use a cardboard backer?  Shooting smaller targets at 40yds without a backer can fool you in to thinking a load that may be shooting great is not very good due to the fact you missed the target with a lot of the load.
