Post by: selinoid44 on February 27, 2011, 09:14:29 PM
Anybody using this decoy? Any success stories with it? Reccomend it or not?

I'm sure it works just like all the rest of them. How does the tail work? Pull a string? With some of these decoys my opinion is why would I want to add movement to a decoy if it requires me to move.

yes its on a string. a guy on another forum is modifying his because the tail doesnt go all the way down. it goes from 90 degrees straight up to 90 degrees horizontal. he was saying the decoys presentation as far as the look (ie: the skin or body part) is amazing.

Carrylites bob'n tail doesnt have a string, I'm sure you could add one but the ones we carry at dick's sporting goods don't come with them.  It has a weighted tail section that hand by a small hook. It's pretty neat everytime the A/C kicks on in the store the tal will move a little bit.  I like the look of them alot the body looks good and the tail movement is pretty sweet, head coloring leaves a little to be desired though. I'm still thinking about taking one home.
