Title: Scoring Question
Post by: Gobble! on February 27, 2011, 08:42:39 PM
Last year when I measured my turkeys beard and spurs i did it after i cut them off from the bird. i just wanted to make sure this was OK. I feel it was much easier to measure them after they were removed from the bird.

If I'm not mistaken the answer is NO!....You need pictures of the bird and the measurements. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

All measurements have to be on bird, not after removal.

I did on my beard last year to verify my photo. Wasn't that impressed with the photo on the attached beard, so I wanted to show anyone that had a question, that it was actually the size I said.

Now when you messure do you have to convert it in to decimals or can it be in the faction form? Just asking cause i think i saw something that it had to be converted.

We forgot to put up the scoring calculator that does that for you. It is now up in the contest section.

Jay didn't forget the scoring calculator, just figured nobody on the team would need it.

;D Are you kidding, I have to hire a CPA just to help me figure all of this out when they all start dropping birds. :TooFunny:
