My wife of almost 29 years shot her first bird last Saturday. She went out with me for the first time EVER one morning last week but we could only hunt for a short time and ended up only seeing a lone hen. So she wanted to go again Saturday, but I had too many things on my plate. Since one of us hunting is better than none, I stayed home and did some honey do projects while she tagged along with a friend. And wouldn't ya know she wacks an honest to goodness long beard. He gobbled up a storm and put on a struttin show as the story goes. Looks like I got me a new huntin partner. She cleans what she kills and cooks what she cleans. Had a keeper all along and didn't know it.
