I saw this blue grouse strutting his stuff while turkey hunting the other day. Cute little fellow!

Awesome pics!  Being from the east, the first time I saw a blue grouse strutting his stuff, I was like:  what is wrong with his neck? LOL!!

I got some video of a ruffed (I think) grouse drumming a couple weeks ago while turkey hunting.  Unfortunately, the video didn't pick up the sound.

MAN THAT THING IS AWESOME!! I would love to hunt some grouse, I think Im gonna have to try it this year with my dad out in california. I put in for the drawn hunt to hunt sage but I think Im also just going to have to try out the other types out here.Awesom pictures.
