We didn't hear a gobble until 8:45, but when he started it was non stop gobblin. I had Mitchell Johnson, my wifes cousin with me, he a good hunter, but had only killed 1 gobbler before this mornin. I set Mitchell down and I walked away from him cuttin as I moved, the gobbler was goin nuts.....only took 7 min's, 50 gobbles and BOOM!!!! When I got back to Mitchell, he was still shakin and veerrry excited!!!! After we took pic's, we had to show the bird to everyone in 3 county's!!!!! Weight 22lb, beard 11", spurs 1 1/4 and 1 3/8", very nice gobbler and an awesome hunt!! We struck this bird with my Billy Buice trumpet and finished him with a V cut mouth call from Lyle.
