It is only day 3 of the season here in NY but I am already frustrated about how much time I have to hunt. I work days and my wife works nights and doesn't get home to 7:30. I don't get to my hunting area until 8 and can only do this about once a week. I have always had my best success in the early morning and feel I need to be out there well before day break. Does any one else have problems like this. Just curious .. :OGturkeyhead: :newmascot:
Yep. This year is very different from last year. Last year, I was just doing log sales and this year I'm buying and doing log sales. Before the season started I knew that wouldn't be out as much and forced to hunt with the just weekend warriors. I *could manage a hunt until about 7:45-8 but that was it and it was a sprint to the truck and off to work.
you have to deal with what you have
have had good luck and killed a many a bird from 9 to 12
