Used Hevi 7's for the first time on my Kansas hunt. I shot a longbeard at 38 paces with my Win 1300 w/GT .655 and he was knocked nearly stone dead. The only movement was a slight twitch in the tail fan, no wing flapping, no "running legs". By the time I got to him, he was completely gone. Until this time, I didn't think it was possible to shoot one at any distance and not have it flop around. Made a believer out of me.

Now you know.
Most of all those 7's were complete pass throughs on the head and neck I'd bet money.
Seeing is Believing! If you do your JOB, 7's are DEADLY!
They worked for me last weekend. 30 yds and he was done.
Thats been my experience with HTL too!

I crushed two birds this year with the #7 HEVI and it was ugly, all of the small pellets with the knock down of HEVI gave them a quick dirt nap. It's hard to get away from a pattern as dense as the #7s
I killed a few coyotes the last couple of season with H13 7's and it piled them up where they were! No spinning and yipping like when shot with lead 6's.
The H13 6's put a few down this season outta the 20 - definitely on the HTL bandwagon!
I hope I become a believer. After I'm done with these last five hevi 3-2-6's , I'm going to
Hevi 3.5- 2.25- 7's. Got a good deal on 4 boxes. After seeing a lot of everyone's results on here I figured I might as well give em a try.
I was with my friend on thursday and he shot a Tom at 47 yards with Hevi 13 # 6. The Tom hit the ground and barely moved. I've used HeviShot for many years and have never been disappointed. I still need to fill one tag with Hevi-13 and my second with HeviShot Magnum Blend. Ten days left, I better hurry!
Tagged out in Tn. This morning with Hevi #7, 32 yard shot,DOA right there, 7's are the real deal.
chipper what part of TN ? still got one tag left but been working the last two weeks and couldnt go , thought the birds here were probably done . birds still gobbling ? I too am a believer in the 3-2-7's just tried them this year for the first time and am very impressed .
I've been hunting Benton and Houston counties, they've slowed down gobbling but I've had a few birds in a couple different areas that are gobbling good the last week or so.
I dumped a coyote at forty yards this morning with a load of 7s. The crazy thing attacked my decoy. I have shot 6 turkeys with this load and have been happy but it impressed me again this morning.
