Post by: REBELYELL on May 01, 2012, 04:54:38 PM
Is there much difference in the quality of these mounting rails?

I have the weaver rail on my 11-87 and have not had any problems with it.  For the money it cant be beat.  I would definately recommend it.

I would say probably not.  I've used EGW bases quite a bit and like them a lot.  Nothing wrong with the Weaver.  I have no experience with the Millet.

Hey all - I am new...first post!

Anyways, I recently used the Weaver Converta 'No-Gunsmith' Mount (picatinny style) on my 870 Express Super Mag, and I have to say I am quite pleased with it for the price (30 bucks), ease of install (10 minutes), and seemingly high stability for mounting a red dot.

Might be worth checking out!
